This is an undulating parkland course which has numerous water features and green protecting sand traps, all of which have been incorporated seamlessly into the natural surroundings to provide varied and interesting holes.
Capel Bangor Golf Club is a 9 hole course set in 40 acres just 3 miles east of Aberystwyth. The course opened in 1992 with the addition of the club house in 1998. 2006 saw the opening of the restaurant extension which provides panoramic views of the course.
Sympathetic long term development has always been the core principle of this family run business. The preparation and maturing of the course on converted farmland incorporated many of the 5,000 trees and shrubs as a picturesque feature of the design, which has brought many compliments from golfers, spectators and club house users alike.
